The "NAPLES SPRING ARTISAN SHOWCASE"  began in 2009 as a fundraiser for the "Bristol Valley Theater".  The first year of the event hosted over 80+ artisans from all areas of the United States, food vendors, music and 6 local wineries participating in a wine tasting and bottle sales and an Artists' Raffle Tent.  With beautiful weather and a perfect start to the beginnings of the show season we were pleased to introduce a "preimere event" attended by over 2500 visitors.  Participating vendors reported sales averaging $500 - $2500.  These are remarkable statistics for a first year introduction, and a turbulent year of economic disasters.
The vendor survey comments as well as the feedback of attendess were astounding and their hopes that the showcase would return again in 2010 and beyond.

HIGHLIGHTS FOR APPLYING TO THE 2010 SHOWCASE:
  • One of the first shows of the season to introduce and promote your venue of the arts.  Everyone is anxious to begin coming out from their winter hibernation and start the Springtime and Summer season in the outdoors.
  • Low application fees for all vendors, while maintaining a vision of original, unique and quality artisan scope.
  • Great advertising and promotional offerings for the vendors, sponsors, and attendees. Avenues are available for web sites, TV, radio, newspaper and magazine publications, personal selling tools and much more.
  • Grounds layouts where every assigned space of accepted participants is seen.
  • The geographical area for the showcase is one of the most visited areas of the Finger Lakes Region.  The village of Naples, New York is located at the south end of Canandaigua Lake.  Census figures show this area and climate to be one of the highest in the nation for home values and incomes.
  • Only those vendors applying whom place the highest standards on creating quality, unique forms of art will be accepted at this juried event.
  • Judging of the event will be done on Saturday and winners from all categories (those with a minimum of three people participating) will receive Ribbons and Documentation of Best of Category and one overall "Best of Show" winner will receive a VISA gift card and a free booth rental in 2011.
